President Trump on Tuesday sent out a series of AI memes on social media attacking Iran and political opponents, plus extolling his feats during his second term.
One post features a meme on Truth Social showing former Presidents Barack Obama and Joseph R. Biden and ex-Speaker Nancy Pelosi wading together in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
The phrase “Dumacrats Love Sewage” is above the image of the three Democrats.
A nonprofit dedicated to “promoting informed stewardship” of historic landscapes requested that a federal judge Monday stop the Trump administration from painting the reflecting pool’s basin blue from its current gray.
The lawsuit in federal court said the project should not proceed without undergoing consultation with the Interior Department and receiving input from other federal agencies.
The group also says the project violates federal law requiring the department to issue an assessment of how the paint job would affect the environment.
In another AI-generated meme titled “159 ships” on his Truth Social account, Mr. Trump posted shots of Iranian navy ships. One image titled “Obama/Biden” shows the vessels cruising above the water. The other, titled “Trump,” features the ships destroyed at the bottom of the sea.
Mr. Trump also posted a cartoon image of Illinois Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker gorging himself on pizza and a double bacon cheeseburger as he sits at a table stacked with other high-calorie food, including fried chicken, nachos, spaghetti and meatballs, plus a milkshake.
Above that is “JB is too busy to keep Chicago safe!”
Mr. Pritzker is facing criticism for supporting his state’s cashless bail SAFE-T Act, which he signed in 2021 and went into effect in 2023, after recent high-profile violent crimes involving perpetrators freed without having to pay bail.
The most recent was Alphanso Talley, a 26-year-old Chicagoan who became the center of the state’s cashless bail law after allegedly killing a Chicago police officer and critically wounding another in April.
In another meme, the president slams House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, New York Democrat, calling him “Hakeem ’Low IQ’ Jeffries,” and shows an AI image of his Brooklyn district in dark, dirty disrepair. The juxtaposed image with the phrase “him at home” shows Mr. Jeffries standing in front of a neoclassical white-pillared mansion upon a manicured lawn on a sunny day.
Other truth social post memes Mr. Trump included are stock market charts showing the S&P 500 hitting an all-time high, a comparison chart of the Iran war’s length with other U.S. conflicts, a $100 bill with his face on it and the U.S. Navy blasting an Iranian drone out of the sky with the phrase “Lasers: Bing, Bing, Gone !!!”
