When Calls the Heart‘s Season 14 is expected to make its debut next year. In the meantime, some of the series’ stars have been giving fans plenty to talk about. This includes Chris McNally, who recently opened up about some big news in his family.
When Calls The Heart Fans Have Watched Chris McNally Bring Lucas Bouchard To Life Since 2019
McNally is an actor and writer. Over the years, he has become part of a number of Hallmark projects. These include Hearts of Christmas, Rocky Mountain Christmas, and A Winter Princess. However, many know him best for the Hallmark Channel series, When Calls the Heart, where he has played Lucas Bouchard since 2019.
In 2017, McNally met Julie Gonzalo while working on the movie, The Sweetest Heart. The two got married in 2018, having their first child in 2022.
This past December, the couple announced that they were expecting their second child, who was born in June 2026. Speaking with People, it was shared that the couple had welcomed another baby girl.
Chris and Julie shared, “We are so incredibly grateful to have this new little girl in our family.” They continued, “Our first few weeks were a bit of a blur.
Fans Celebrated Hearing There Are Two When Calls The Heart Babies To Celebrate
“We seem to have forgotten how small newborns are — it seems impossible our oldest was ever that tiny! There have been plenty of family snuggles, though, which helped make the exhaustion easier to handle.”
This comes out after When Calls the Heart star Erin Krakow announced that she and husband Ben Rosenbaum were expecting their first child in November. The couple welcomed their daughter in early April.
