Ryan Seacrest Took Over For Pat Sajak On Wheel Of Fortune Back In 2024
Seacrest became known to many through his hosting duties on American Idol, which premiered in 2002. Since then, he’s been part of a number of programs.
In 2023, it was announced that Seacrest would be the next host of Wheel of Fortune, following the retirement of Pat Sajak. Fans first saw him on the game show in 2024 as part of Season 42.
Recently, the show wrapped up Season 43 on May 21. Following this, Seacrest took to social media to thank his co-workers for all that they do on the show.
Taking to Instagram, Seacrest wrote, “Thank you to the Wheel crew for another great season!” His carousel post opened up with a photo of the crew members standing with each other on the show’s stage.

This was followed by a series of videos which saw Seacrest and his co-star Vanna White stand in line for tacos at a food truck, sit down and enjoy a mariachi band, and enjoy snow cones with other crew members.
Some of Seacrest’s crew members took to the comments to share their appreciation. Maggie Sajak wrote, “Squad goals,” which she paired with a trio of smiley face emojis. Wheel of Fortune’s official page also wrote, “The best in the biz!”
