Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen has vanished from the schedule, and at the worst possible time. It is the week of the highly anticipated Summer House reunion, and fans are chomping at the bit for it to air. So, where is WWHL, Andy, and a camera? Moreover, will he be back this summer, or is he done for good? Keep reading for more details.
Where Is Andy Cohen?
This is a huge week for Bravo as the epic Summer House reunion is airing part one. Fans have been waiting for this since Amanda Batula and West Wilson shared they were seeing each other. It was the ultimate betrayal, and viewers wanted to see them held to the fire. This has been compared in some ways to ‘Scandoval,’ and Bravo superfans have hoped various cast members would pop in to WWHL. Unfortunately, the show has been MIA from the schedule, and that has been a major shock. It would make sense as Monday, May 25th, was Memorial Day, but after that, it was still gone.
So, what happened and when will Watch What Happens Live return? Is Andy Cohen gone for the whole summer as he enjoys time with his two children in the Hamptons? As it turns out, he just took an extended holiday, but will be back on June 1st. At the end of the May 24th episode, Andy shared this information, but fans may not have heard it or forgotten, which is completely understandable:
“We are off the rest of this week, we will see you back here Monday, June 1 at 9:15 after Below Deck Down Under.”
Despite this happening, no pre-recorded or repeat episodes aired in the timeslot, which was also hard. However, Andy Cohen does like summering with Ben, Lucy, and some of his high-profile friends. So, the pieces fit, but again, this is a huge week for Bravo, and viewers count on WWHL for various hot takes.
Andy Loves His Family
Much like Anderson Cooper and Hoda Kotb, Andy Cohen waited a long time to have children. The WWHL host was 50 when his son, Ben, was born and 53 when his daughter, Lucy, came into this world. That being said, the New York-based personality is adamant about making time for them. He wants to ensure that they have all they need, including fun summer vacations. Moreover, it does not matter if that takes away from Bravo fans’ Watch What Happens Live viewing time. Fortunately, he will be back in time for part 2 of the Summer House reunion, and a lot is happening this summer on Bravo.
