Kelly Ripa Has A Nightmare Experience
Fans have watched Kelly Ripa for decades and have seen her go from fresh-faced soap star to talk show icon. She co-hosts Live alongside her husband, Mark Consuelos, and together, they have three children. Nothing is off-limits for the couple, and that is what makes them such a dynamic duo. Recently, Kelly had a nightmare experience, which warranted her having to call 9-1-1. She did not know if this was something that she wanted to share with the public, but ultimately, she felt it was necessary.
She had gone to Palm Springs for the weekend, and there was a local street festival that had these amazing dates. Kelly noted that her family loves them so much that she and her dog, Lena, headed down to grab some. Lena opted to be extremely social on this evening and was strutting around. They headed back to the car, where she placed Lena in the passenger side, but quickly realized the car was locked, with her phone inside. That meant Kelly Ripa was locked out, and Lena was essentially trapped. She then called 9-1-1 out of desperation:
“I’m like, ‘Hi. I’m in the parking garage at the casino, and I have locked my human dog and my phone and my keys and my wallet and everything in the car. Can you send someone to break into the car for me?’”
They let the talk show host know that they could not do this, but a tow truck did come to save the day.
Did The Dog Tell Mark?
In Kelly Ripa’s mind, she thought that Lena was communicating with Mark Consuelos telepathically. That she was letting him know what was going on and that she locked her in the car so he would know. However, that is likely untrue, but Kelly was very nervous about what her husband would have to say. After having a panic attack over the whole situation, she was amazed at how fast the tow person was able to get into the car. It took a matter of seconds for them to break in and for Kelly to be on her way.
