Armie Hammer was recently spotted in Los Angeles. This marks a rare appearance for the actor since returning to the area. This also follows his return to acting following past accusations made against him.
Armie Hammer Was Recently Spotted In Los Angeles After Returning In 2024
Hammer is an actor who started his career in the 2000s. He gained international recognition for playing the twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in The Social Network. He also appeared in films such as The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Lone Ranger, and Mirror Mirror.
In 2021, Hammer was the subject of multiple accusations of abuse from women. For his part, Hammer denied these claims.
In early 2021, an Instagram account known as the House of Effie posted messages said to be from the actor. These allegedly included BDSM and cannibalistic fantasies.
In a statement with People at the time, “Hammer shared, “I’m not responding to these bulls— claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that.”
Following an investigation by the LAPD, the charges against Hammer were dropped due to insufficient evidence. The allegations are believed to have derailed his career, although he returned to acting in 2024.

Meanwhile, viewers recently saw Hammer make his return to acting. He appeared in the Western movie Frontier Crucible, which was released in late 2025. This was his first film credit since 2022’s Death on the Nile.
In addition, Hammer has been making multiple podcast appearances as of late. He even started his own namesake podcast, The Armie HammerTime Podcast.
In a video on Instagram, before leaving the platform, Hammer previously shared that he was starting his podcast around two months after returning to Los Angeles. He shared, “So, I’ve got a little bit of news; I think some of you are going to love this, and some of you are going to f—— hate it.”
Hammer continued, “But basically, I’m starting a podcast, and the original idea of the podcast was sort of the concept that over the course of a day, every single person you interact with knows at least one thing that you don’t. So, teach me what that one thing is.” However, the podcast was put on an indefinite pause in late 2025.
