“If I was India A coach or manager I would have left Vaibhav Suryavanshi out for this game v AFG. Only to let him know that’s it’s not OK to get physical on the field. Whatever the provocations,” Manjrekar wrote.
The controversy erupted immediately after a thrilling Super Over finish that ended in a Sri Lanka A victory. Tempers flared when Sri Lanka’s Vishen Halambage reportedly stepped across the line, launching verbal volleys at Suryansh Shedge and Suryavanshi.
