The comedian, known for being controversial, caused quite the ruckus after revealing her new partner is more than four decades younger than her.

In a shocking Instagram post, the 65-year-old comedian uploaded a photo of her and her younger man. The pair looked cozy, rocking matching black outfits as the young stud reached for the door of an SUV.
Griffin looked super dressed up in a mid-length sleeveless gown with a peplum finish at the bottom and lacy trimmings. She accessorized with block heels and slinky black while her signature ginger hair, styled as a fringe, added color to the look.
The gentleman, who wasn’t tagged in the post, donned a black polo and pants with silver sneakers and had a light ginger hue to his hair. Griffin and her boyfriend had their fingers clasped as he stared awkwardly at the camera.
“He’s 22. Have at it, internet,” she sarcastically captioned the post, inviting the public’s opinion.

In no time, fans took the bait and shared their thoughts in the comments section. “Just don’t marry him,” one user advised, while another noted, “Remember when you admitted the age gap in your last marriage was a bad idea? lol.”
Others felt the age gap was borderline offensive, with one comment reading, “Imagine if it were an older man with a 22-year-old girl, though lol.” Another harsh critic penned, “Let’s not normalize this please.”
However, Kathy’s new romance was hailed by some fans, who thought a younger man is the right match for her. “If he is opening the car door for you, keep him. More class at 22 than most men,” this fan wrote.
Another urged, “He’s attractive, has manners, and is treating her properly. That’s what matters.”
Page Six reports that Griffin’s recent post comes less than two months after she shared a photo with another mystery man who appeared older. “We’re insta official. Deal with it,” she captioned the May upload, which has since been deleted, suggesting the romance is over.
Just last year, the “D-List” star went public with the news of a short-lived affair with a 23-year-old man she met on a dating app.
Rather than launch the relationship on social media, she wrote about it in an essay for The Cut. “I accidentally fell in love with a 23-year-old. Because of his age, he didn’t have the usual sexism, misogyny, and biases that guys my age tend to have,” an excerpt read.
Griffin noted she was shocked her heart could feel that way about someone in her 60s. However, that wasn’t enough to sustain their bond, as they were in different worlds.
Unfortunately, the media personality revealed she had to “set him free,” even if she “really was in love with him.”

The Illinois native’s romance with the 23-year-old came after her marriage to Randy Bick, her ex-husband, was finalized.
The pair, who first met in 2011, were together for 12 years, four of those were spent married, before the comic filed to end things.
Griffin and Bick shared an 18-year age gap between them, which the entertainer noted bothered her at the start of their romance.
“Well, you know I didn’t think it would last [because] he’s 18 years younger than I am,” she previously told People Magazine.

The entertainer dished on the cosmetic procedure during a podcast appearance, admitting it was fueled by her desire for vanity. However, her recovery after surgery was far from easy.
“I’m going to be honest. It’s painful,” she confessed.
