Leandro Trossard is set to leave Arsenal after Turkish club Besiktas reportedly agreed a deal for the winger.
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday that Besiktas and Arsenal have come to terms on a package worth €20million (£17m) and that Trossard is to travel to Istanbul for a medical and to finalise the transfer. Arsenal will receive €18m plus €2m in add-ons.
Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2023.
He has gone on to make 174 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 36 goals. He made 50 appearances last season as Arsenal won the Premier League for the first time since 2004 and reached the final of the EFL Cup and Champions League.
Trossard scored eight goals in all competitions in 2025-26, with his last strike for Arsenal coming in a crucial 1-0 win over West Ham that edged the Gunners closer to the title that had eluded them for 22 years.
The 31-year-old will now head for a new challenge in Turkey, as Arsenal look to bring in new faces in forward areas.
Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, still at the World Cup with England, is viewed as the Gunners’ top target, while they have also been linked with France and Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola.
Further back, Arsenal are keen to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes and are reported to have agreed personal terms with the Magpies captain, though the Tyneside club are said to be adamant about player they reportedly value at around £100m is not for sale.
