Matthew and Camila McConaughey are giving tequila lovers a new way to celebrate National Tequila Day, no cocktail shaker required.
The couple’s Pantalones Organic Tequila has joined forces with Tipsy Scoop to transform the classic margarita into a frozen, alcohol-infused dessert. The collaboration begins with a limited-edition Peaches & Cream Margarita Ice Cream before expanding later this summer with a vegan flavor created exclusively for Tipsy Scoop’s new Dallas location.
According to a press release sent to The Blast, the partnership is intended to bring “the best of happy hour” to the ice cream shop during one of the hottest stretches of summer.
Launching July 22, the Pantalones Peaches & Cream Margarita Ice Cream blends fresh peach ice cream with Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila and a hint of lime. The result is intended to capture the sweet, creamy, and slightly tart flavor of a peach margarita in scoopable form.
“Most margaritas are served on the rocks. This summer, we’re deciding to serve ours by the scoop,” Pantalones Organic Tequila CMO Persia Tatar said in the release. “National Tequila Day is one of our favorite holidays, so partnering with Tipsy Scoop to turn a summer margarita into ice cream felt like a no-brainer. It’s fun, unexpected, and proof that tequila belongs in more places than just your glass.”
The limited-edition flavor will be available through August at every Tipsy Scoop Barlour. Customers can purchase an individual scoop for $8.50 or take home a pint for $16.
Fans Can Order The Boozy Ice Cream Nationwide
Fans who do not live near a Tipsy Scoop location will still be able to try the McConaugheys’ latest creation. The Peaches & Cream Margarita flavor is available for nationwide delivery through Goldbelly in a four-pint package priced at $109.95. The bundle also includes a keepsake insulated Tipsy Scoop tote bag.
This is not simply tequila-flavored ice cream. According to the Goldbelly product listing, the frozen dessert contains up to 5% alcohol by volume. That places its maximum alcohol content in the range of some beers, meaning customers must be at least 21 years old to purchase or consume it. An adult signature is also required when the package is delivered, and it cannot be left unattended at the door.
The ice cream contains milk and is processed in a facility that also handles wheat, soy, tree nuts, and peanuts.
The Collaboration Expands Tipsy Scoop’s Boozy Dessert Menu
Tipsy Scoop has been blending cocktails and frozen desserts since 2013, offering alcohol-infused takes on ice cream, sorbet, and other nostalgic treats.
The company currently operates locations in New York City and Philadelphia, along with franchises in Washington, D.C., the Bahamas, Portland, Nashville, Pensacola, and Baltimore. Dallas will become its newest market when the upcoming Barlour opens.
Its products are made with real spirits rather than flavoring alone, which is why they are reserved for adults. The brand’s other creations have included Cake Batter Vodka Martini ice cream, Mango Margarita Sorbet, and Tequila Mexican “Hot” Chocolate.
For the McConaugheys, the collaboration also creates another way to place Pantalones outside the traditional liquor aisle and introduce the tequila to customers through an unconventional summer product.
Pantalones Continues To Grow
Matthew and Camila co-founded Pantalones Organic Tequila as a premium spirits brand with a deliberately irreverent personality. Produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico, its portfolio is made with 100% blue Weber agave and includes Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo expressions. The brand is also USDA-certified organic.

Pantalones Backs Up Its Playful Marketing With Major Awards
Despite its comedic marketing, Pantalones has collected several industry honors. Its Añejo earned a Double Gold medal at the 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for the third consecutive year, elevating the expression to Platinum status. Wine Enthusiast also awarded 94 points to both its Blanco and Añejo tequilas, while the Reposado received 93 points.
Now, Pantalones is putting that award-winning Reposado into an adults-only dessert that allows fans to toast National Tequila Day with a spoon instead of a shot glass.
