Al-Nassr have discovered their schedule for the 2026/27 season after the Saudi Pro League’s first fixture announcement of the campaign.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s side will start at home to Al-Fateh, who the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored against three times across two league wins last season.
Ange Postecoglou will oversee Al-Nassr’s title defence, having briefly managed Nottingham Forest last season following two years with Spurs that ended with the Australian winning the Europa League.
Ronaldo scored 28 goals across 30 league appearances last season, finishing behind Julian Quinones, who netted 33 times for Al-Qadsiah, and Ivan Toney, who registered 32 for Al-Ahli.

The league has organised teams into four tiers to “avoid prolonged sequences against the strongest opposition”.
No club will face a team from Level A in consecutive league rounds.

The season starts on August 13, 2026 and ends on May 29, 2027.

Shortly after Al-Nassr finished third in 2025/26 – 13 points behind Al-Ittihad – Ronaldo appeared to strongly hint on social media that he had played his final game for the club.
He agreed a new contract exactly a month later, having scored in Portugal’s triumphant Nations League semi-final against Germany and final against Spain.
He missed three matches in all competitions earlier this year, with Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer thought to have been unhappy at Al-Nassr’s perceived lack of transfer activity.
