Yes, it’s that time of year again. Bell is rolling out wireless price increases of up to $6 in the coming months.
Some Bell customers took to Reddit to report that their wireless services are going up in price starting in July 2026.
One Redditor posted an image of the message they received from the carrier. Bell’s mobile customers are getting emails indicating that their monthly bill will increase by $6 per line starting July 2026.
Just got the “Bell $6/month price hike” email. Has anyone successfully fought this recently?

MobileSyrup contacted Bell about the latest round of increases, and the company confirmed the increase was coming, suggesting it was because of the company’s investments in its network. Here’s the full statement:
“Since 2020, Bell has invested more than $24 billion to deliver Canada’s fastest networks at competitive prices. Due to rising operating costs and an evolving market, the monthly rate of Bell wireless services will be increasing by a range of $3 to $6 for select customers nationwide in July 2026. All impacted customers will receive at least 30 days’ advance notice.
“We value our customers, and we are committed to providing them with flexible options. Our plans, bundles and promotions range from premium offerings to affordable packages designed to meet the needs of different customers.”
Notably, Bell customers hit Reddit around this time last year complaining about the exact same thing — a $6 price hike per line starting in July. At the time, Bell offered a very similar statement, attributing the increases to “rising operating costs and market shifts.”
The national carrier is already in the hot seat for rolling out a new device handling fee, which the CRTC says might violate its rules prohibiting activation fees and similar charges. Moreover, Bell is facing scrutiny over a recent spat of firings targeting workers who allegedly falsified in-office attendance.
