Bunnie Xo Spills The Tea
When Bunnie Xo started her podcast, she admitted it would be hard. It dropped on the evening of Thursday, June 18th, and many fans and followers didn’t want to listen. Yes, they cared to hear about what had gone wrong. However, it came out in the evening and was close to an hour long. In the comments, fans stated they were cooking dinner or putting their children to bed. Therefore, they did not have the time to invest in a whole pod, so they hoped others would give the Cliff Notes. Some made up horrible stories, such as Jelly Roll had cheated and gotten another woman pregnant.
Cheating was believable given Jelly Roll’s past. However, this is seemingly false as Bunnie delved into what went wrong. They had been doing IVF to have a baby that was of their own flesh. She had been open all along that this has not been easy, but the losses and heartbreak broke them. Bunnie has been candid about the effect of hormones on her body, as many women have shared a similar experience. On Mother’s Day, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll argued, and that led to the end:
“I just looked at him and I said, ‘Well, file the f—ing divorce papers.’ And in our relationship, that is the one cardinal thing that you don’t say, even though my husband has said it numerous times…. But when I say it, it really holds weight, because I’m not the type of person who says what I don’t mean.”
She ended up leaving their Nashville home so she could take a breather, and in that time, Jelly filed for divorce. They have reconciled in a friendly way. She looks at him as her best friend, and still refers to him as her “husband.” However, Jelly is dating, and Bunnie seems fine with that.
The Baby Future
In an unexpected twist, all of that IVF they went through is not going by the wayside. Bunnie Xo shared that she and Jelly Roll will still be having a baby. That does not mean they are reconciling by any means. It just means that they have come too far to completely abandon ship and will co-parent this child. Furthermore, it seems like this surrogacy is further along than anyone knows, which makes sense. Bunnie made it clear that fans would be along for the ride but would have no idea when it actually happened.
