Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, is no stranger to horror media. However, the star recently talked about the supernatural during a recent interview. At the time, she even surprised the host by discussing a childhood exorcism.
Kaia Gerber Has Appeared In Multiple Horror Media, From American Horror Story To The Shards
Gerber is an American model and actress, as well as the daughter of Cindy Crawford. She previously made her debut at Fashion Week in 2017. As an actress, Gerber is also known for appearing in the films Bottoms and Saturday Night, as well as The Shards.
Gerber also appeared as Kendall Carr in Season 10 of American Horror Story, also known as American Horror Story: Double Feature. She appeared in the second story, Death Valley, which revolves around camping students who find themselves dealing with a conspiracy involving extraterrestrials. The same year, she also appeared in a few episodes of the spin-off, American Horror Stories.
Before heading off to film her scenes for the series, Gerber’s mother thought of an interesting way to help her prepare. Instead of acting tips, Gerber shared that her mother helped her get an exorcism.
Gerber Claimed That The Ritual Involved A Traditional Australian Instrument
During an appearance on “The Mitch Churi Chat Show,” Gerber shared, “Do you know how they did the exorcism? My mom gave me holy water to go to set with because she was like, ‘I don’t want you to get possessed.” I was told I was possessed as a child.” Gerber continued, “I just was possessed. I was haunted my whole life.”
Host and Australian entertainment personality Mitch Churi wanted some clarification and asked, “Did you have an exorcism?” Gerber explained that she did have an exorcism of sorts, noting, “I actually did…Oh wait, this is actually perfect for you. Do you know how they did the exorcism? They played a didgeridoo all over me. That’s how they did the exorcism.”
The podcast later shared the exchange on its Instagram account, writing, “Obsessed with @cindycrawford sending @kaiagerber to set on American [Horror] Story with holy water,” allowing fans to share their reactions. Many didn’t seem to take the story too seriously, but enjoyed the share. Some comments included:
