DoorDash has partnered with Canadian food retail giant Empire Company Limited to begin deliveries from several of its grocery chains.
Under this agreement, Canadians will be able to order from 12 Empire brands, including grocers like FreshCo, Sobeys, Longo’s, Safeway, IGA, and Farm Boy and convenience stores like Needs, Boni-Soir, and Voisin. In total, more than 1,000 stores across ten provinces have been added to DoorDash.
To celebrate the launch of these new grocers, you can snag a limited-time discount on orders from them. Between April 27 and May 3, use the promo code “FRESH65” on DoorDash to save 30 per cent off one order from an Empire Company Limited grocery brand.
Interestingly, DoorDash notes that 25 per cent of Canadians on its platform now shop grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail products. DoorDash is available on the web and Android and iOS.
