Freedom Mobile has some Samsung phones on sale. With the Samsung Sales Event, you can get the company’s newest phones at a discounted rate.
Notably, most of the deals involve Freedom’s ‘TradeUp’ program, which reduces the monthly financing cost of a phone if customers agree to return the device at the end of the 24-month contract, or pay to keep the phone.
Additionally, Freedom is offering to double the storage for free with purchases of the Galaxy S26, S26+, or S26 Ultra when activated on TradeUp with a min. $50/mo plan. Customers who get the S26+ or S26 Ultra 512GB model will see an extra $280 in savings applied to their MyTab, while S26 512GB purchases will see an extra $242 in savings. These extra discounts will bring the monthly MyTab cost in line with the 256GB storage versions of the respective Galaxy phones.
For example, with the Galaxy S26 512GB, customers will pay $10/mo for financing on a $50/mo plan, with a TradeUp amount of $398. At the end of the 24-month contract, customers can return the phone to Freedom, or pay the TradeUp amount to keep it. (That’s a total of $1,440 over two years if you return the phone, or $1,838 if you keep it).
A 256GB Galaxy S26, on the other hand, also costs $10/mo financing with TradeUp on a $50/mo plan, but has a slightly lower $360 TradeUp amount for customers who want to keep the phone. (That’s a total of $1,440 over two years if you return the phone, or $1,800 if you keep it.)
To put Freedom’s prices in perspective, Samsung Canada charges $1,249.99 for the S26 256GB, or $1,529.99 for the S26 512GB. While it initially looks like Freedom costs about $300 more, the Freedom pricing includes the cost of your mobile plan. So, unless you’re paying less than $15/mo for your phone service, it’s actually cheaper to get an S26 from Freedom right now.
