The Saskatchewan Roughriders were without several key players in practice on Monday, including Canadian receivers Kian Schaffer-Baker and Samuel Emilus. The team released its official injury report on Monday afternoon.
Schaffer-Baker didn’t participate due to an oblique injury, while Emilus was a non-participant with an ankle issue.
Schaffer-Baker made eight catches for 89 yards in the team’s 40-34 loss to the Toronto Argonauts this past week. The 28-year-old native of Mississauga, Ont. is currently the CFL’s second-leading receiver, having made 27 receptions for 384 yards and two touchdowns through three games to start the regular-season.
