Love Overboard will not be returning for a second season. According to Deadline, Hulu has canceled the dating reality series after just one season. The first season was released in March.
The series, from Alex Cooper, followed a group of singles who went on the high seas to find love. Gabby Windey hosted the series. Gia Aldisert and Tim Demirjian won season one, earning a $100,000 prize and a trip around the world.
The following was said about the cancellation:
“The show, which premiered at the end of March, failed to create a huge amount of buzz, particularly compared to other Hulu unscripted originals such as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, The Kardashians and Vanderpump Villa.”
