Marshals previously wrapped up its first season back in May. However, fans already got a sneak peek at what to expect next on the show. A teaser has come out, showing Kayce Dutton defending his family’s honor.
Marshals Previously Ended Its First Season With Cliffhangers & Tense Moments
Marshals is a spin-off of Yellowstone, which wrapped up in 2024. The series follows the youngest son of the Dutton family, Kayce, after he’s joined the U.S. Marshals, leaving Yellowstone ranch behind.
Marshals made its debut on March 1, 2026, with it soon getting renewed for a second season. The first season ended on a cliffhanger, in which Belle and Cal were ambushed and shot by gunmen hired by Tom Wheeler. Andrea’s fate hung in the balance after she took a new job in Washington, D.C. At the time, Kayce also sent off his son with an enemy without realizing it.
The series recently dropped its first teaser for the second season. In it, Luke Grimes, as Kayce Dutton, finds himself being held at gunpoint by a group of men. One of the men shares, “I’ve heard stories about the Duttons.” Kayce shared, “The fact that you’re doing this tells me you haven’t heard them all,” before he started his own attack.
Some Of The Show’s Cast Also Teased What Could Expect Next With The Start Of Season 2
Rainwater, played by Gil Birmingham, shares, “Nobody escapes unscathed with death and violence.” Kayce responds, “That’s the Dutton way.” Naturally, fans only get a tease of the action about to take place. Kayce is shown on horseback as he points hus gun toward a moving vehicle. The car flips in the air, and he rides away with a smirk on his face.
Back in May, Arielle Kebbel and Logan Marshall-Green spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, sharing that they will return for the show’s second season. Marshall-Green shared, “I can confirm he is alive, but not necessarily unscathed.” Kebbel also teased that the season will pick up from a tense moment. Marshall-Green added, “I can tell you that we’re all going through things — without giving anything away.”
In the meantime, the series has dropped a few videos on its official Instagram page. At the time, making sure fans keep the show on their mind, fans have been taking to social media to share their excitement for a second season. Some comments included:
