Millie Bobby Brown has been throwing major shade at Louis Partridge throughout the “Enola Holmes 3” press tour, even sneaking in a subtle dig about his past relationship with Olivia Rodrigo.
The “Stranger Things” actress has also been increasingly candid in recent interviews, calling out the unequal treatment she says she received compared to her male castmates.
Millie Bobby Brown’s onscreen chemistry with Louis Partridge in “Enola Holmes 3” appears to mirror the playful dynamic they share off-screen.
After the film premiered on Netflix earlier this month, the pair embarked on a press tour for Philip Barantini’s latest installment, where Brown has repeatedly taken playful shots at her costar.
Earlier this month, the actors sat down with Glamour, where Brown was asked about the wedding gift Partridge gave her after she married Jake Bongiovi.
“His presence, which was underwhelming,” she quipped.
Elsewhere in the interview, Partridge admitted he wasn’t “good” at giving compliments, prompting Brown to fire back, “No, you’re not, hence why I’m married.”
Partridge Can’t Escape Millie Bobby Brown’s Relentless Teasing
The third installment sees Brown reprise her role as Enola Holmes, the younger sister of legendary detective Sherlock Holmes, while Partridge returns as Viscount Tewkesbury, Enola’s fiancé and a progressive member of the House of Lords.
The couple travels to Malta for their wedding, but the ceremony is thrown into chaos after Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) mysteriously disappears.
Off-screen, however, Brown and Partridge have embraced a more sibling-like dynamic, constantly trading playful jabs while promoting the film.
During MTV’s “Music To Blank To,” Brown mocked Partridge’s love of classical music, insisting he was “lying to himself” and “talking a load of sh-t.” She went on to call him a “psychopath,” joking that his playlist was a major “red flag” because it was “giving American Psycho.”
The banter reached another level during their Vanity Fair Lie Detector Test, when Partridge ignored several prepared questions to ask Brown whether she was happy in her marriage.
Caught off guard, Brown jokingly referenced his failed relationship with Olivia Rodrigo, replying, “I did not go there with you, pal! There’s a lot more to have at you.”

Reflecting on their onset experiences, Brown explained that it was fun starring alongside Partridge and that she enjoyed tossing him around the room with her newfound jiu jitsu skills.
During an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the actress joked that she thoroughly enjoyed launching her costar across the room.
“I had immense fun in just, like, launching him across the room,” she said while gesturing toward Partridge. “We got to do that once in this film, and I really enjoyed that part.”
Partridge admitted the experience wasn’t nearly as enjoyable from his perspective.
“I was fully padded up, but after the third or fourth time it starts to take the wind out of you,” he recalled.
Brown Speaks Out About ‘Stranger Things’ Double Standard
The 22-year-old actress has been more forthcoming in recent interviews, opening up about everything from past trauma to her motherhood journey, and even about things that don’t sit right with her following the conclusion of the hit show “Stranger Things.”
During the July 13 episode of the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast, she addressed what she described as the double standard she experienced, saying the “scrutiny and pressure” she faced simply wasn’t the same for her male castmates.
“Women don’t win because we don’t get to win. We don’t get to just be in peace. It’s crazy scrutiny,” Brown said.
“I grew up on a show with four boys. I’m not taking away their experience—they got their fair share of things—but what the girls got on that show, what felt like my experience as well, was the scrutiny and pressure that gets put on you was insane,” she continued.
She added that she never saw headlines dissecting what her male castmates wore on the red carpet, how they styled their hair, or how they looked, while those topics frequently dominated coverage about her.
Brown Admits She Still Feels ‘Resentment’
Brown stressed that she wasn’t diminishing the talent or success of her male castmates, describing them as “amazing,” but argued that media coverage largely focused on their work rather than their appearance.
“But I do, too,” she said. “My headline shouldn’t be tearing me down—and other young girls down. I get very annoyed about it because I just feel very protective over girls that are coming up into the industry.”
She also admitted that she still carries “a bit of a resentment” because she doesn’t believe she received the same treatment as her male counterparts.
Even so, Brown made it clear she wasn’t looking for sympathy, telling Shetty, “It’s not a pity party.”
