Chrissy Metz recently made an appearance on The Tonight Show. During the moment, she showed off her recent weight loss, with the This Is Us star having lost around 100 pounds. At the time, she also discussed a recent milestone in her career.

As an actress, Metz gained recognition through her role as Kate Pearson on the drama series This Is Us. In addition, she is known for her work on American Horror Story: Freak Show and The Hunting Wives.
Outside of acting, Metz is also known as a singer, being part of the band Chrissy and the Vapors. She notably appeared as a guest panelist during Season 5 of The Masked Singer‘s eighth episode. Following this, she competed in Season 11 as “Poodle Moth,” ultimately being eliminated during the quarterfinals.
Recently, Metz was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. At the time, she not only gave updates on her career but also flaunted her recent weight loss.
As previously reported, Chrissy has been open about dropping a reported 100 pounds. This followed a healthy lifestyle balance and strength training. The actress stepped out in a chic polka-dotted mini dress.
However, Metz also wanted to share a big update in her career. She can now add Broadway actress to her resume, starring in the Tony-winning musical & Juliet as the nurse, Angelique. This means she also gets to appear alongside NSYNC’s Joey Fatone.
Being on Broadway for the first time, Metz shared that she was having fun, but admitted to a “grueling” work schedule. At the time, she shared, “A lot of red-light therapy, a lot of magnesium salt baths, prayer, and… a lot of sleep. Eight shows [are] grueling, and I’m no spring chicken!”

& Juliet is a jukebox musical retelling of Romeo and Juliet, had Juliet fled to Paris instead of dying, with William Shakespeare and his wife, Anne Hathaway, fighting over how the story should end. The musical is made up of a lot of pop songs. Angelique takes part in a variety of numbers, including takes on Jessie J’s “Domino” and Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again.”
Metz also shared a photo of her visit to The Tonight Show on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Always a good time with you, @jimmyfallon! @fallontonight @andjulietbway.”
With Metz’s recent appearance on the show, many fans complimented her look, while praising her own weight loss journey. Quite a few fans especially liked her dress. Even & Juliet‘s official Instagram page wrote, “F**king perfect!!!!,” in reference to the Pink song of the same name, which is also featured in the show. Some comments included:
