The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies are all going through various trials and tribulations. Yet, Dorit Kemsley’s money troubles have been front and center. The home that she shared with her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, was facing foreclosure and was about to hit the auction block. So, what happened, and has it been saved? Dorit Kemsley Scrutinized For Overspending
When Dorit Kemsley joined RHOBH in Season 7, she had everything and more. She had nannies and a traveling glam squad, and she lived large. Her husband, PK Kemsley, was broke when they met, but he built himself back up, and they were doing incredibly well. Sadly, that dream faded, and her home was in the news for possible foreclosure. They appeared to be able to save it until the couple split, and she claimed PK was an alcoholic, plus he had stopped paying bills. Their home was now officially facing foreclosure as well as auction.
Dorit also noted that PK was no longer paying the utilities, despite having two minor children. She was making a lot of money from different endorsements, RHOBH, and a book deal. However, it appeared that she had a major shopping problem. The $6.5 million Encino home was scheduled for foreclosure on Wednesday, May 20th, but that did not happen. Ronald Richards, an attorney who has been weighing in, believes that PK made a payment to allow his family to stay secure a little longer:
“Dorit Kemsley’s foreclosure set for tomorrow morning to going to be postponed. Based upon a review of certain filings and information, our educated guess is we believe that Paul Kemsley has graciously come forward to save the house for Dorit and his children for now.”
Unfortunately for Dorit, this is just a temporary fix. There is another foreclosure date set for June 3rd.
It has been stated repeatedly that she does make more money than her estranged husband. Moreover, she resides in the home, but she is allegedly not stepping up to keep it safe. Yet, PK has been helping financially for their children, Phoenix and Jagger.
All On PK?
RHOBH fans are looking at this situation, and they feel that Dorit Kemsley is completely in the wrong. She may have more money than PK, but she should be spending it on her home expenses and her family. However, it was noted that they have both been living beyond their means for quite some time:
