Splatoon Raiders will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23.
Nintendo confirmed the release date in a new trailer.
Notably, this is a single-player-focused entry in Nintendo’s popular multiplayer-heavy third-person shooter series. In it, you play as a customizable mechanic in the musician group Deep Cut as you venture out into the mysterious Spirhalite Islands to raid for salvage. And while the game is primarily single-player, it does support up to four-player co-op online or via local wireless.
It should be noted that Splatoon Raiders is part of Nintendo’s recent initiative to set different prices for first-party digital and physical games. This means that Canadians can get Raiders digitally for $69.99 and physically for $84.99, and it will apply to other Switch 2 games coming this year, including Yoshi and the Mysterious Book (May 21).
