Former Summer House star West Wilson exited after Season 10. He had been on the show for three seasons, and it seemingly was not his choice. Now, he is allegedly telling people that he will be back and that this is just a “pause.” Moreover, is there some talk about marrying Amanda Batula mixed in? West Wilson Is Not Really Gone
As Season 10 of Summer House was coming to an end, it became clear that West Wilson was not coming back. In the Aftermath episode, he even shared that he did not think he would film the show anymore. Now, he has supposedly been let go after three seasons, as has his girlfriend, Amanda Batula. She was an OG cast member, but the duo was involved in a romantic scandal that left it nearly impossible for them to return.
Despite all of this, West is claiming that this is not the end for him but rather just a “pause.” Allegedly, he believes that he will be back after a one-season timeout. On his Show Me Something podcast, which aired on June 27th, West had this to say:
“The summer … obviously, we’re taking a little time out, like I’m not filming this summer, which, I think, ultimately is the right thing for everyone. We can all … Everyone can, like, take a breather. It wouldn’t have been fun for literally anyone.”
By saying that he is taking a breather from Summer House, West seems to believe that he is on “pause.” However, with time and space, he believes that this will mend fences.
As for West and Amanda Batula, the couple was recently in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. They were spotted out getting lovey dovey and allegedly, and an insider shared that they seemed incredibly happy. Moreover, she was by his side, no matter where he went, and there was even talk of marriage, per Deuxmoi:
“Lake Geneva Gordy’s – Amanda followed West to the bathroom and she stood at the men’s room waiting for him. Friend asked him are you getting married? And West said ‘ask her’ and Amanda said ‘yeah no’ … They were making out and said ‘I love you.’”
Still Married
Keep in mind that Amanda Batula is still married to her Summer House co-star, Kyle Cooke. Although they have separated, the divorce is in progress. Therefore, even if she and West Wilson wanted to tie the knot, it would be impossible, at least for now. After fans and followers heard that he believed he would be back on the show, did they want him to return? They loved his delusion:
