Elisabeth Hasselbeck has been part of a number of shows over the years. Recently, it’s been announced that she will be making her return to the network where her career started: CBS. There is also speculation that the move could also lead to more. This also comes out as viewers have seen multiple changes occur at CBS News.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck Has Appeared On Many Shows Throughout Her Career, From The View To Fox & Friends
Hasselbeck became known to many after competing in the second season of Survivor. She later gained further recognition on The View, appearing from 2003 to 2013.
Following this, Hasselbeck joined the Fox News morning show, Fox & Friends, from 2013 to 2015. However, news has come out that she will soon join another morning show.
As noted by The New York Post, Hasselbeck will appear as a special guest host on CBS Mornings. She will appear alongside Gayle King and Nate Burleson during the Monday through Wednesday episodes.
Hasselbeck will be part of the 8 AM hour, discussing parenting and pop culture, and will be part of segments like “Talk of the Table” and “What to Watch”. She won’t be part of the network’s hard news coverage.

Although Hasselbeck will appear as a guest, CBS will maintain its three-anchor structure during the week. Adriana Diaz will co-host during the Monday broadcast, with Vlad Duthiers appearing on the following two days.
Various Figures Have Been Coming, Moving, & Going At CBS News, Especially At 60 Minutes
While Hasselbeck is being described as a special guest host, the outlet reported that this could be a potential audition for a larger role. The outlet notably described Hasselbeck as being tapped by Bari Weiss herself. After all, her career started with CBS when she appeared on Survivor: The Australian Outback.
This comes out as viewers have seen multiple changes occur at CBS News since the installation of Weiss as editor-in-chief. This had included moving Tony Dokoupil from CBS Mornings to the CBS Evening News.

As previously reported, one program that has been especially impacted by these changes is 60 Minutes. Various figures who have made their exit from the show over the past few weeks include Anderson Cooper, Tanya Simon, Sharyn Alfonsi, and Scott Pelley.
Despite this, there is speculation that the network is interested in bringing back old talent. As previously reported, newly appointed Nick Bilton executive producer had attempted to rehire Draggan Mihailovich, though he appeared to decline the offer.
