Craig Melvin is a happily married man. He’s been married to Lindsay Czarniak since 2011. They share two children. However, the Today Show host couldn’t help but blush and flirt a little with a Sports Illustrated cover model.
Comedian Tiffany Haddish was among the magazine’s iconic Swimsuit issue. Craig Melvin became flustered earlier this week when she was on the show as a guest. At one point, Tiffany Haddish called him out for flirting with her. “Don’t be playing with your ring now, player!”
Craig Melvin immediately denied that he was flirting, reminding her that he’s been happily married for 15 years. Savannah Guthrie defended him, calling it an “involuntary spasm.” The moment passed, but it kept the hosts on their toes during the unexpected moment. Al Roker Reveals Craig Melvin’s Shocking Secret On Air
Craig Melvin made headlines in April for revealing Jenna Bush Hager’s secret on the air. Now, it was his turn in the hot seat when Al Roker spilled the tea. The weatherman is pretty good about keeping secrets about his own life, like his daughter’s surprise wedding.
However, when it comes to his co-host, Al Roker can’t stay quiet. During the May 15 broadcast, he spilled Craig Melvin’s secret to the audience. While giving the weather report, Al Roker noted that the temperatures are finally heating up and Craig Melvin was ready for it.
“Craig is getting a jump right now, he’s wearing Bermuda shorts under the desk,” he shared. Craig Melvin jokingly confirmed it. But how did Al Roker know? He was in Williamsburg, Virginia, for a special on the historical colonial town as part of this year’s celebration of 250 years of U.S. independence. Craig Melvin stayed back in New York City and was joined by weekend anchor Laura Jarrett.
“Al tells all your secrets,” Craig Melvin’s co-anchor said in response to Al Roker spilling the secret. Viewers at home couldn’t tell if Craig Melvin really was wearing shorts or not. He wore a dark blue checkered blazer over a white shirt, paired with a gray tie. The anchor desk cut off at the waist, so he very well could have been wearing shorts, but unlikely.
