Asus has unveiled ROG Masters North America 2026, a big open esports tournament for gamers in Canada and the U.S.
In the competition, Valorant and Street Fighter 6 players will take part in online qualifiers before finalists face off live at Game Con Canada in Edmonton. Organized by Meibel Consulting, the convention runs from June 19-21 and is the largest gaming event in Canada. The online qualifiers will be held from May 30-31, while the top 4 Valorant teams and top 8 Street Fighter 6 players will advance to the live finals at Game Con Canada on June 21.
A total prize pool of US$10,000 (about C$13,700) is up for grabs, which will be split evenly between the Valorant and Street Fighter 6 tournaments. Valorant players can register here, while Street Fighter 6 players can sign up here. More information on ROG Masters North America 2026 can be found on Asus’ website.
Asus’ esports tournaments join a large lineup of Game Con programming. Other highlights include celebrity guests like Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll and Canadian Mass Effect star Mark Meer, playable game demos, board games and tabletop games and more. Also that week is inaugural North American Games Industry Summit (NAGIS), an accompanying sister event to Game Con Canada featuring prominent speakers like Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell and several BioWare veterans.
Adult Game Con Canada tickets cost $45 (day pass) or $108 (weekend pass), with lower rates being offered to youth and kids. A $350 VIP pass including all of that, plus early entrance, bonus games and collectibles and more is also available.
Game Con Canada is one of many gaming events happening in Canada over the next several months. Check out MobileSyrup‘s comprehensive round-up for more.
