The future of One-Day International cricket has become one of the biggest talking points in the modern game. With T20 cricket dominating global attention through franchise leagues and ICC events, many believe the 50-over format is gradually losing its place in an increasingly crowded calendar. Bilateral ODI series often struggle to generate the same excitement as T20 contests, prompting regular discussions about whether the format needs a makeover to remain relevant. While some have even proposed reducing ODIs to 40 overs per side, India captain Shubman Gill believes the answer lies elsewhere. Gill recently shared his ideas on how the…
Back in 2001, Steven Spielberg released an underrated scifi movie named A.I. Artificial Intelligence (yes, the title is a bit redundant). The movie, which loosely borrows from Pinocchio, tells the story of a family who adopts a robotic boy programmed for love, and that robot’s heartbreaking quest to become a real boy. Much of the technology in A.I. remains elusive. We’re probably not anywhere close to building androids that can convincingly pass as Haley Joel Osment — or Jude Law, for that matter. But some of the AI products imagined in the movie are starting to look surprisingly plausible. Take…

Of note is that Canadian-resident return trips from the United States in June totalled 1.7 million, up 3.2% from the same month in 2025, marking the third consecutive month of year-over-year increase. That stylized 끄-읕 is a phonetic riff on the Korean word 끝. In Korean, 끝 means “end.” Fans have been theorizing about what that choice signals for the tour’s overall concept. His real task is considerably less benign: he has been sent from Phnom Penh to gather information that might facilitate the expropriation of their land. Rather than building this premise into a conventional tale, Giovanni C Lorusso’s Homo Sive Natura, which…
NEW YORK — New York will block the construction of any new large data centers for up to a year so the state can create rules to protect the environment and energy grid from the power-hungry facilities that fuel artificial intelligence technology. Gov. Kathy Hochul is set to sign an executive order Tuesday morning imposing the country’s first statewide moratorium on hyperscale data centers, which house thousands of computer servers and require massive amounts of energy and a steady supply of water to keep cool. “As data center development threatens to hike up utility bills, deplete our natural resources, and…
