Bunnie Xo has been candid about her weight struggles and how she tried various GLP-1s. She watched her now-estranged husband, Jelly Roll, drop three hundred pounds. He has become a completely different person, while Bunnie has been working tirelessly to get herself healthy. Now, she is opening up about being fat-shamed while undergoing IVF. Keep reading for more details.
Bunnie Xo Compared To ‘Old’ Jelly Roll
Being in the public eye is hard, and Bunnie Xo knows this all too well. She has worked hard to get to where she is and has amassed a huge following. That being said, she is always under a microscope, and that can be hard. When her now-estranged husband, Jelly Roll, decided to undergo a huge lifestyle change, he was committed. That helped him lose nearly 300 pounds, and fans were blown away. As for Bunnie, she did dabble with GLP-1s, but they constantly made her sick.
She has been working out and doing all that she can, but apparently, the 46-year-old was fat-shamed at her lowest point. Bunnie had been undergoing IVF, which was a hard procedure as is. Then, she was mocked, as some would say that she was heavier than Jelly Roll:
“As I was going through IVF, it put weight on me, and people would be like, ‘Oh, she’s bigger than her husband now.’”
She noted that she was doing her best to create a child with her husband of nearly ten years. Yet, people were mocking her and making her feel shame for how she looked:
“You’re literally trying to make a baby with your body, and it’s like people just have no respect. The internet is just so crazy, but I’ve learned that it’s just miserable people who have nothing better to do than just comment on other people’s lives. So you can’t ever let that get to you.”
The subject came up while Bunnie Xo had Baylen Dupree on her Dumb Blonde podcast. Both ladies battle endometriosis and have been victims of cyberbullying.
Still Having A Baby
Despite all of the struggles that Bunnie Xo went through undergoing IVF, she is still having a baby. Even though she and Jelly Roll are going through a divorce, they still want to have a child via surrogate. They will co-parent, which many are taking issue with. Regardless, this is what they want to do and will pursue it no matter what. Fortunately, Bunnie has a huge forum to share her endometriosis and weight struggles with. Hopefully, it helps other women going through the same thing feel less alone and teaches people to be kind.
