The woman reportedly explained that Sheets had instructed her to return to bed shortly beforehand. She also told emergency responders that he had never previously threatened suicide, though she described him as frustrated by ongoing sleep issues and family-related concerns.
Bodycam footage later obtained by TMZ reportedly showed first responders discovering Sheets in his home office. Authorities ultimately determined there was no evidence of foul play and ruled the death a suicide.
