Warner Bros. Games has just released the launch trailer for the highly anticipated LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
Set against the backdrop of Seal’s Grammy-winning song Kiss from a Rose from the Batman Forever film soundtrack, the trailer features epic cinematic and gameplay moments of the Caped Crusader and his crime-fighting allies (Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul) as they take on an ever-growing threat from the likes of The Joker, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and other infamous DC Super-Villains from all aspects of the Batman lore – comics, movies, games, and more!
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, developed by TT Games, is an all-new open-world action-adventure video game with an original story inspired by decades of Batman films, television shows, comic books, and games, combined with DC lore and, of course, fun-filled LEGO humour. The latest trailer alone features references to Batman & Robin, Batman Forever and more. Confirmed voice cast includes the likes of Shai Matheson as Batman and Matt Berry as Bane.
It will launch worldwide later in the month for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), with pre-orders available now for the Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game. Deluxe Edition pre-orders will also receive 72-hour early access beginning on May 19, before the main launch. All pre-orders will receive The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit (at launch), inspired by the acclaimed comic book series.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight releases on May 22nd.
