It seems like Tori Spelling is ready to make some big changes in her already busy life. Now, she’s shocked fans after dropping out of her own podcast. Keep reading to find out what exactly is going on.
Tori Spelling Backs Out
It seems as though Tori Spelling has a lot going on right now. Just earlier this month, it was reported that she was set to appear at Creep I.E. Aftermath with Hayden Panettiere. The pair were marketed to have a Scream reunion at the event, which had fans very excited. Unfortunately, both of them ended up dropping out.
First Hayden cancelled because of an emergency.
“Hayden Panettiere has an emergency and will not be able to attend this weekend. We are looking forward to her appearing at an upcoming show,” they said.
Then, suddenly, Tori also cancelled. Her reasoning was also an emergency, however, much less specific than Hayden’s.
“Tori Spelling has an emergency and can no longer attend. New replacement guest announced later today,” they said.
While the show went on and all ended up fine, it was still unfortunate to see both stars drop out.
Now, Tori seems to be making a habit of it.
Leaving Her Own Podcast
According to inTouch, Tori Spelling has revealed that she’s leaving her co-host job on the Beverly Hills, 90210 rewatch podcast. During this show, Tori and her co-host and co-star Jennie Garth would rewatch the hit show and discuss the episodes on air. Then, fans could watch along with their favorite stars and reminisce over certain scenes. The podcast started in 2020.
In the most recent episodes, they were all the way into Season 8. This means there were only two more seasons before they made it through the entire show.
Reportedly, Tori has been missing from the show since May. However, the official announcement was just made on her social media.
Tori leaving doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road for the podcast, though. Jennie will continue to host the show alone. Of course, Tori encourages everyone to continue to listen without her. Although there’s no telling how long the show will survive with only one host. That means double the work for Jennie to keep listeners entertained. Not to mention the fact that there are only two more seasons before she runs out of content.
So why exactly is Tori leaving? Apparently, she wants to pursue other projects. However, those projects haven’t been made clear yet. It will be interesting to see what she does with her newfound free time.
