But once fame hit, she seemed to struggle with life in the public eye. She impulsively married her childhood friend, Jason Alexander, in 2004. The marriage lasted 55 hours. Later that year, she married backup dancer Kevin Federline. They welcomed two children during their three-year marriage.
Her relationship with her sons, Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, has been strained for years. “Her relationship with her sons has also been a source of sadness over the years, and those closest to her know how much that weighs on her,” a source told The U.S. Sun.
“Some people close to Britney can’t help wondering whether she’s actually happier now than she was then. The sad reality is that she seems incredibly isolated. She spends most of her time at home and her world has become smaller and smaller over the years,” the source added.
Social Media Activity Sparks Concern
Britney Spears should be living her best life after gaining her freedom. However, her social media posts are very concerning. She often posts half-naked dance videos that sometimes result in nip slips. She’s been alone since her third marriage to Sam Asghari ended in 2023.
She was arrested on DUI charges in March 2026 but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge that kept her out of jail. “The videos and posts leave people concerned and scratching their heads, it looks like we’re seeing someone who is still struggling,” the source said about the singer’s social media posts.
Despite her problems, fans are still rooting for Britney Spears to make a comeback. Her last tour was in 2018.
